Rob Tissera is an accomplished DJ and producer who took an interest in electronic dance music during the 80’s and is one of dance music’s most prolific stars still to this day. Emerging as a prolific producer in the 90’s;” Kick up the Volume” was an anthem of its time and was championed by big-name DJs such as Carl Cox, Pete Tong and Judge Jules.
Tissera subsequently found additional success in conjunction with fellow producer Ian Bland (aka Dream Frequency) as Quake. Their first production was “The Day Will Come” and released by FFRR in 1998. It was of course a massive success, leading on to a follow-up, “Mantra (Forever)” which also featured vocalist Marcia Rae (aka Marcia Ray) who was on Pete Tong’s Label; Essential Recordings. Flying solo in 2002, Tissera produced “Burning” on Y2K, followed by “Bring the Lights Down” in 2004, “Feel the Drums” in 2005 along with “Promised Land”. This top-selling producer and versatile DJ technical brilliance and effervescent sets have seen him pack out parties across the globe along with playing for big brands such as Kiss da Funk, Cream, Clockwork Orange and Golden.
